Welcome to the Virginia Crandall family site. Please feel free to browse, share memories and be inspired by this wonderful woman.

Virginia Rae Stubbs Crandall, our sweet wife, mom, grandma, and friend passed away on April 12, 2017. She was born November 9, 1933, to Donald H. and Roxy Myrl Stubbs in Provo, Utah. She attended schools in Provo and Orem and graduated from Lincoln High School. She graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She married John Charles Crandall in the Salt Lake Temple on March 19, 1953. Together they raised four daughters.
She was the heart and soul of our family. She lived her life with faith, courage, and undying optimism in whatever circumstance she found herself. Her cheerful countenance and unconditional love inspired us. She never judged or criticized, but listened and understood. She was our “safe place”. Her faith in us gave us hope, lifted our burdens, and made us come away feeling better about ourselves. Her “it will all work out” attitude and sense of humor just made life better for everyone she met. Many felt her love and influence for good. She bore her burdens well and was a true follower of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
